We cordially invite you to take part in the competition for the Jan Raczyński Media Award and submit nominations of journalists and publications recommended by you.
About the award
The Jan Raczyński Media Award is presented to journalists and editorial teams for the best publications on rail transport. This distinction supports the reliable promotion and dissemination of knowledge about the rail industry in Poland. Applications for the award can be submitted by print, online, radio, and television media, among others.
EDITOR JAN RACZYŃSKI
TRAKO Program Council passed away unexpectedly in 2020. In 1996, he founded and continuously edited one of the most important industry periodicals – Rail Transport Technology, also known as TTS – a magazine created for and with the industry.
TRAKO Program Council decided to establish a media award named after editor Jan Raczyński, awarded to media outlets supporting rail transport.

Business Pulse
Journalism and transportation are two of my passions. I've been writing about railways and other segments of the transportation and logistics industry for over two decades. My interest in rail transport was instilled in me by my grandfather, who worked as a train driver for many years. I know the railways professionally and personally. I use them for commuting, business trips, and leisure travel.
I'm delighted that industry entrepreneurs and experts have recognized my commitment to writing rail-related articles by voting and selecting me as the first recipient of the Jan Raczyński Media Award. This is a great honor.
In my private life, I'm the mother of a 15-year-old daughter, Natalia. My family and I enjoy traveling, hiking, and listening to music together.
