On 30 October 2024, the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Convention Centre in Gdańsk will host the next edition of the Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress. The event has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of the Polish transport and infrastructure industry. The Congress is organised by the Team of Economic Advisors TOR (Zespół Doradców Gospodarczych TOR) and Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie.
Every year, the Congress welcomes hundreds of participants representing business, the academic world, central and local government authorities at various levels, employers' organisations and entities from the intermodal transport industry.
In the afternoon of 29 October 2024, the day before the Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress, the organisers invite you to a study visit to the investment being carried out by Budimex – the T3 container terminal at Baltic Hub in the Port of Gdańsk from the land side.*
The main themes of this year's event will include, among others, the north-south corridor and investments that will increase exchange with markets in the Central and Eastern European region, ideas for increasing volumes transported by rail, including a "timetable" for intermodal transport and greater discipline in the punctual running of freight trains, as well as synergy in the development of ports and railways in the context of the accumulation of major investments.
The current Congress programme is available on the website: https://www.tor-konferencje.pl/wydarzenia/iii-pomorski-kongres-transportu-intermodalnego.
